1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, and physical billing details collected during WooCommerce registration.
• Payment Data: All payment information is processed directly by PayFast. Blue Track does not store your credit card or bank details on our servers.
• Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates, speed, device battery status, and historical route data transmitted by the mobile tracking applications to our Traccar cloud server.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your data strictly to:

• Provide real-time positioning information directly to your secure user dashboard.
• Manage your subscription billing and account access.
• Comply with statutory legal and tax obligations in South Africa.

3. Data Retention and Security

• Retention Period: Historical location logs are automatically purged or anonymized on our servers after 30 days to protect user privacy.
• Security Measures: We implement industry-standard encryption protocols on our Traccar and WordPress environments. However, because our systems run on shared infrastructure, users acknowledge that no online transmission is 100% secure.

4. Tracking Minors (Under 18)

• In terms of POPIA, processing the data of a child requires explicit parental or guardian consent.
• By activating a device belonging to a minor on the Family Plan, the primary account holder explicitly declares and warrants that they are the legal parent or authorized legal guardian of that child.

5. Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request the complete deletion of your data.
